    Over 6 months and no updates on their own forum section. People understand when a company says “We can’t release that information”. Instead, silence is often understood as “We don’t care”. I wonder which one is the case here.

    average life span of a led flashlight?

    The lifespan rating (usually in hours) is not a failure rating. It‘a to a percentage of original brightness (ie. 70%). I have one light with over 9,000 hours run time. It’s noticeably dimmer than a new one I received with the same emitter. I can’t say if some of that was a binning difference.

    I also really want this light to continue. I don’t have a lot of disposable income right now. I’ve made it a Christmas habit of purchased one as a gift and getting something for myself. It’s fun to have so many colours, emitters, beam profiles, and modes in one family of lights.

    The white Ladda's match the rated Eneloop Pro capacity. Those aren't known for their longevity, either.

    LED life expectancy is a not a failure rating. Rather, it is a degradation of output to a percentage of original.
