    Mine is exactly the same way! For some reason it was not designed to sit flush. I don't think it detracts from the light overall. Use and enjoy the MDC - it is an awesome design.

    I completely understand this and always try to be reasonable. I strive to give companies the benefit of the doubt - for example I have sent them three mails and waited two months before even mentioning it on a forum. I have seen people bash manufacturers if they don't reply within two hours...

    I understand that calling them will work, but it is a bit difficult for someone out of country. Cost and time difference is huge.
