It is much cheaper to get your local utility to upgrade your electrical service than to think about solar/battery storage options. I think solar is great, but not for making up for a household's not being able to provide enough juice for an EV. What happens if it's cloudy for a few days?

The dqg and the shiningbeam are very slim--probably can't get smaller diameter than those two lights.

Interesting. These numbers don't quite make sense to me. It seems that the Novatac doesn't have a current driver and the current going to the LED is affected very much by the Vf of the LED. Talking to Henry at HDS, the HDS and Ra lights deliver constant power to the LED and in theory the lower...

you can find it cheaper (closer to $20 or $25) sometimes.
It puts out clean USB power. No problems charging my Palm Pre.
I like how it also charges AA and AAA's and has 4 independent charging channels.
