    just like what hkj mentioned, if you can't find any screws in plain sight, try to pry off the rubber feet(s) and label/sticker. if there's no screws under there, it might either be welded or locked with tabs.

    i find it kinda weird that no seems to be interested in knowing how to pop-off a press fitted bezel w/o doing any damage. :confused: anyway, how did you pop-off the bezel? those blobs near the 2 screws, are those solder blobs?

    i understand that you don't want lasers and i had a similar dilemma before... i ended up still using a laser. :D what you can do is defocus the laser and/or put in a diffuser along the path so that you end up with a more eye-friendly beam. a 'dying' battery also helps to dim it down a bit more...
