Klarus Mi X6 (XP-G R5, 1xAAA, Stainless Steel) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS and more!

Yeah, I considered that, but all of them start with a single F followed by a four digit number, or double F followed by a three digit number, so it seemed like that would result in a max of only 10998 units made, unless they expanded it. Not really important, as I do like the light, but just...

Klarus Mi X6 (XP-G R5, 1xAAA, Stainless Steel) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS and more!

I just bought one of these, and noticed that there seems to be a lot of variation in the number after the "MX6" on the body of the light. Mine is MX6F8269, but in looking at the photos in several of the reviews and seller sites, there are many different variations. Some start with a single F...

Tank007 E09 the famous budget light review - for submission in the Reviews forum

I have had one of these on my keychain for a couple of months, same color as the one in this review, and have found that the finish is wearing off on all of the edges on and around the light, revealing the bare aluminum. The material used in this finish seems very weak. I like the brightness...

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

Yup. So far I know of no other way to differentiate a T6 from a U2, except to measure the light output, which I am not equipped to do, so I guess I can either accept her word as truth and keep the light, or give in to the doubt and return it. I think I'll probably keep it as I do like it...

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

Good question. I emailed them the same photo I posted here, with the label on the module and the sticker on the box circled, and explained the situation. She replied that it was a U2 module. All I have is her word for it, which I have no reason to doubt.

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

I just got a reply to the follow up inquiry I submitted thru Eagletac's main web site (China?). The CS rep confirmed that the module is a U2, but was not labeled that way when packed. She mentioned that she would notify them to make the correction.

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

Hmmm. At least my box had a sticker that said XML U2, and with all the follow up validation, I feel confident that is what I have. I hope you get yours sorted out with GG. Sounds like maybe they sent you the wrong version?

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

This was one of the reasons I ordered from illuminationGear. I found very positive comments about Tod and his company, their prices were very competitive, and they offer USPS shipping which is much more economical to where I live than UPS or Fedex. And I have to say that his follow up to my...

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

I did email Eagletac support, and their reply seems to support what illuminationGear told me: that they upgraded their modules to U2, and identify those models with a sticker. The reply didn't specifically state whether the sticker was placed on the module or the box, so I sent a follow up...

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

Thanks for the replies and info. I can definitely understand placing a label on the existing packaging, rather than reprinting a whole new label, but I would think that Eagletac could at least stamp something different or additional on the module itself to differentiate it from the regular T6...

Eagletac XM-L U2 LED module labeling question

I recently purchased an Eagletac T20C2 Mark II flashlight with the newest XM-L U2 module. The original label on the box shows "Cree XM-L T6." and there is a smaller label which shows "Latest binned LED - Cree XM-L U2." The module itself is labeled "Cool White XM-L T6." I contacted the seller...
