Production UV LED lite fluoresce $100 bill strip?

Re: $100 -- the \"money shot\" This is 10 years later, but the only UV light that I found that can fluoresce the $100 is the Nitecore CU-6 UV. I think it is a true 365 nm wavelength as it is not as purple as my other UV lights and fluoresces items like scorpions, credit card and drivers...

Recommend me a UV / Violet / blue LED light.

Nitecore CU6 chameleon has the best UV led wavelength IMO. All the others are bright and purple.. Too much visible spectrum. Also, surprisingly I may add.. a good test is to use get a $100 bill to view the hidden strip. All the other UV lights I have seen have a difficult time illuminating...

Flashlight mostly for geocaching, limited options

Yep.. you can even change the light module from one body to the other.. it is the identical light, except for the electronics in the light module... tailcaps, clip, etc..all are interchangeable. Side by side you cannot tell the difference until you see the MkII written on one of them. You will...

Flashlight mostly for geocaching, limited options

I have both the MkI and MkII G25C2 flashlights. I like both, and the MkII is noticeably brighter on high. I have used both on duty as a LEO, and found both are very reliable and I have dropped both on sidewalks and roadways (accidently of course). I use the MkII mostly, due to it being...

Can anyone upgrade a Pelican 7060 Led to a xpg2 ? How about a blackhawk Xiphos?

Just for info, datiLED did a great job upgrading my one CR123 Blackhawk Xiphos light with a XP-G2 LED, replacing the blue beam Luxeon LED that was in it. It is a very white light (which I wanted) and bright... went from 60 lumens to at least 200 lumens (based on my comparisons with other...

    Pelican 7060 Modifications And/Or Upgrades

I have run into the same problem. If you (we) can find someone who can take apart the light module, it can be upgraded I think. The problem is the darn one piece module!

    1x18650 light for general use

Good suggestions here, but since you mentioned memory for output, flood, and USB rechargeable.. I will have to agree withe Hailestorm... RS 11 meets those requirements.. If concerned with accidentally turning on in a bag.. Just turn the tail cap a quarter turn.. Disengaging the battery... I got...
