Headlamps with longest burntime?

I can see benefits to both designs, difficult to choose between them. I don't need quick access to flashing modes, but I like the double click to constant hi on the tac model, without having to turn the dial. As both models have hold for hi, I think I might be changing my mind and preferring...- mico

Who besides me also likes warm white lights (3000k)?
4000k. I too chose the ZL H600Fc (it even seems a little warmer than my other 'c' rated lights). Indoors I adore it. Whilst I also prefer the colours outside, I'm still finding anything under 5000k to appear to have less contrast to my eyes...bugs me.- mico

Hmmm. Well my H600Fc mkiii is the older fully ribbed style, although bought this year, but is not as floody as my SC5Fc, and it sounds more throwy than some of the models here. I like the new anodising and style. I just picked up a Hi that came that way. My H603c is so too, which also helps me... -

Yeah, mine lights up my ~80 foot garden beautifully, on H1. I believe there's some variation in the floodiness, but I don't know if it's random or batch. @ raduverde, dubliftment you probably have the new style with the darker anodising and non ribbed central section? -
ZL H502 on 14500?
I have a few of the unprotected AW 14500's mentioned. I'm pleased to confirm that it works fine, and is much brighter, in the H502, but I think it wasn't making contact in the H502c I have. Question. What run times do you expect? The eneloop is rated at 2500mah and the AW at... 600mah! What... -
NEW Zebralight H603d, H603c, H603w shoot out
The spill... the 'edge' of the diffuse hot spot, isn't particularly clean/even/symmetric. I don't notice outside, but inside my eyes are distracted, when I move the beam around, by unexpected less bright areas... If a beam has a spot and a perfect spill then pointing it at a wall and jiggling... -

Floodier than my H600Fc iii, such that I'd put it between the H600Fc and H603c (although my Fc throws quite well and doesn't sound as floody as some others here)...- mico
