What was the last LED light you purchased and why?
Prometheus beta qr 3 ti Ice. This like mine 6th or 7th beta light. The design is too cool for me to pass up. It has a 519a 9080. Alpha Reflector Swap
Gotcha. I just got the Beta QR3. I notice the 519a is significantly floodier than my QR2 219b which is nice for my use case. I don't if there changes in driver but it looks sightly brighter. I can't believe it's 15lm. The brightness of hotspot looks almost similar side by side but the 519a...- Newguy2012

I manage to purchase one on my phone while at work. I took a bathroom break. I got it with a pocket clip. I hope the added textured grip doesn't eat my pockets. I think Al is a better material for the design. The increase head thickness would help heat-sink the high mode.- Newguy2012

It's nice bonus feature but It's unlikely I would use it either. I think it's too nice to be on my keychain so would I rather have with a pocket clip. I wish it has option like his customs. I would like to see 4500k instead. The ready made alpha spec says 4500k. So I wonder if he has 4500k one...- Newguy2012

Alpha Nichia E17A 3x3
Looks like the 3x3 Nichia E17A didn't make the cut. The spec say Nichia 519A Neutral White (4500K) @ 90+ CRI (High R9) but the product overview says 4000K. Is 4500k coming back?- Newguy2012
