    ZebraLight SC600

Not really, imo. First one has to realize that just because one might be able to (more or less safely) discharge a li-ion cell down to 2.5 volts, that doesn't mean that this is a desirable thing to do, especially on a regular basis. If you were to do that, or even discharge to 2.7 volts on a...

    ZebraLight SC600

Yes. It comes with a removable clip.

    ZebraLight SC600

My impressions of the two are exactly the same. Although I prefer the slightly tighter beam of the Manafont in a Solarforce L2i host, the significantly smaller size of the SC600 (w in my case), plus great UI with more levels & ultra lows (as well as hidden strobe if/when desired) make the SC600...

    ZebraLight SC600

Which strobe frequency do you prefer: The faster one or the slower one?

    ZebraLight SC600

The SC600W I got from Illumination Gear seems very impressive so far. Based on what I've been reading, I didn't expect my almost 2 year old Trustfire 2400 mah cells (with hundreds of charge/discharge cycles on them) to work properly in the SC600w. But I figured I'd give them a try before...

Liteflux LF2XT Discussion Thread (Part 5)

When it starts flickering by itself, it sometimes may flicker just the right way to switch itself into the tactical mode. I have activated the tactical or momentary mode sometimes by accident also without realizing it. Usually when stuff like that starts happening, it just needs a good cleaning.

    ZebraLight SC600

Since the battery lasts for something like 80 days on low, I just leave it running on low all night. Problem solved. :)

Liteflux LF2XT Discussion Thread (Part 5)

My LF2XT has been my constant EDC since I first got it and it's still going strong, however, I've experienced the same problems every so often with mine and I also found the cure was simply giving it a thorough cleaning, especially on the threads. Whenever it starts showing signs of erratic...

    ZebraLight SC600

Edit: Removed discount procedure by request. Just follow instructions posted on the CPF discount page. I actually have mixed feelings about ordering this early even from Illumination Gear because even though I'll get the light at a decent price with free shipping, my experience with ZL tells...

    ZebraLight SC600

I ordered an SC600W from IlluminationGear.com yesterday and got a notice that it shipped today. discount code info removed I don't know whether the SC600W that is on its way to me has the step down bug or not. I don't think it makes much difference for my purposes but I do hope I get the as...

    P60 sized led drop-ins (part 3)

Today I also received my "Manafont" XM-L 3 mode drop in that was recommended by Corvette6769. It's just starting to get dark here so haven't fully checked it out but from what I can tell so far it seems very nice. LED is nicely centered and it seems a little brighter on low, med & high than my...

Liteflux LF2XT Discussion Thread (Part 5)

The design on the LF2XT is just about perfect, imo. It would be nice if the emitter could be upgraded to something more efficient, and/or high CRI, but only if the wonderful neutral tint (my totally stock example has the best tint I've yet seen on any LED light) could be maintained. I also...

Another thing with these lights is the threads need to be thoroughly cleaned every now and then to keep them working reliably.

    P60 sized led drop-ins (part 3)

Based on your favorable review, I went ahead and ordered one of these. It will be nice to have a 3 mode XM-L and if by chance it turns out to have a little lower low and medium than the DX 5 mode XM-L that I'm using now, that will be a nice bonus, but I don't necessarily expect that.

    Show your Solarforce

I like the way you shortened the L2P. Looks nice. Unfortunately for me, I need to be able to tail stand my L2P. Even though it seems to be a little longer than it has to be, I still love the stock L2P. Also the L2i fitted with an optional flat or slightly crenelated bezel running on a single...
