Couple months back I got a 3 Pack of Duracell LED compact lights at Costco. Perfect size for work, plenty bright with a Hi-Lo-Strope setting. Cheap enough to not be a concern if lost on a job but they eat up AAA cells.
These lights look as though they would fit a single C or D cell. Does anyone...
My work finds me daily with my head and hands inside an access panel through a wall, removing a pump or electrical component. I usually use a small headlamp but sometimes the space is too tight for that and I would be better served with a small light I can stand up inside the space to illuminate...
New to game trail camera's the one I'm looking at uses (8) AA cells at a time, I want an additional 8 to keep charged to change out.
Seems to be no discussion the Eneloops Pros are the way to go. I
I'd like to be able to charge 8 at a time but a post I found during my research here says I...
This belongs to a friends father, he probably got it as a gift 15-20 years ago and asked if I could replace the bulb as the original one just sucks, it puts out a useless amount of light.
It 2xAAA, the bulb unit is 18.5mm, fits into the barrel which is 19mm, the OAL w/o the spring is 13mm. Is...
Bear with me, noob here. The bulb I pictured is rather expensive at $11.
4AA cells in series is 6V, I see a lot of E10 LED bulbs on eBay listed at 6-12V, can get by with that.
thanks for your patience.
I have a few "book lights' we use when camping, shown below. They use 4 AA cells and a standard incandescent bulb, a 4.8V, 0.3A screw in. These lights work better than a headlamp in that they will shine the light on the book rather than out of the rest of the tent.
Are there any LED...
I purchased a couple of the Niteyze LED conversion kits for the Mini Mag AA lites. They are a poor design, to get them to work at all the front assembly must be unscrewed to within 1/2 turn of being loose, the O ring is showing. Waste of money.
Thanks for the advice men, truth be told I think my #1 concern is leakage. It just pisses me off when I open up a light that has batteries with an expiration date 10 years in the future and they've leaked.
Looking for some comparative info about non-rechargable batteries such as AA, AAA, CR2 , CR123, etc. Everything I find seems to be years old, I'm interested in finding out whether some of the "newer" offerings like Energizer Ultimate Litiums, Varta Lithium are worth the extra money, if Duracell...
I have a small Orvis LED light that clips to a cap visor. when I opened it up I found 2 exteremly thin cCR 2016 3V batteries stcked on atop the other.
Is there a single battery I can replace this with or do I really need to stack the two together?
thanks,
Rob
Sorry about that. I'm pretty sure I only posted an image not a hot link.
I did check the FAQ about posting images and it didn't mention hot links.
How do I add an image to a post?
If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and...
thanks Tam, that's what I wanted to know. How do you like that lamp? Petzl says it's the best for hunting and fishing, the red lens for low light work.
Can anyone tell me if the top strap on this Tikka is made to be removed so I can just use the headband?
thanks, Rod
