Olight, whats up with their service dept???

I just checked and you are correct. They have moved to Smyrna Georgia. That is about 10 minutes from my house! Now if they would just fix my light! Maybe I should go there in person to find it.

Olight, whats up with their service dept???

I sent in a small Olight Keychain I3 light over 6 weeks ago for a warranty repair...Contacted them twice. Same story, we are moving our service department we will get to your repair when we can. Not sure what country they moved the repair center to... It also tells me they have a LOT of repair...

Best to replace Eneloops in external flash when cycle speed slows just a bit?

I see. I would upgrade the 420ez since it cant use an external power pack. A great value Canon flash is the 550EX. They work on both film and digital cameras and has a GN of 55 vs your 42. They take the external powerpack (I have it too) and at FULL power recycles in about 1.25 seconds (in TTL...

Best to replace Eneloops in external flash when cycle speed slows just a bit?

PEBKAC, maybe I missed it but tell me EXACTLY what camera and flashes you are using. I test/review digtal cameras and lenses all day long. Maybe you mentioned it in this thread but I missed it. You had a link to a Canon 430EXII flash but you said yours was "like" it. Here is what I would do...

Old Thor spotlight, isn't there a better bulb for it?

I have one of the old huge Thor spotlights but never liked its brownish color beam. Isn't there a brighter, whiter bulb I can easily install to correct it? Thanks Rob

Older Sanyo charger specs anyone? MQH01 (aka Kodak K6100)

I have a couple of these older chargers I never used and want to give them to a friend that only has some old cheap trickle chargers. At least he has Eneloops, he just need some better chargers. I found a data sheet on them but not any real details about them. Anyone remember them? I know it...

    Thor Cyclops 10,000 candlepower?

Thats funny, I just picked up a THOR X 10,000,000 candlepower 2 days ago from a thrift store. It was dirty, missing the battery, missing the charger and missing the battery door. I offered $10 for it and it was senior discount day so for $8.40 it was mine. I had a battery for it, I had a charger...

Eneloop long term trickle charging.....not a good idea.

Inetdog, I think you are the newbie since you just joined here in 2013, I have been here since 2005. Silverfox summed up trickle charging very nicely thank you.

Eneloop long term trickle charging.....not a good idea.

Thanks guys for confirming extended trickle charging is not good for Eneloops. I had never seen it discussed here before.

Eneloop long term trickle charging.....not a good idea.

At work we put these Eneloop AA's (2nd generation purchased in 2012) into our Maha MD-C204f to charge and would rarely use them and then put them back, that was two years ago . I put them in the Maha 9000 today and two of them would not even register. I put them in my Energizer 15 minute charger...

Old Rayovac PS3 charger, looking for details on it.

Thanks Tinderbox! Just what I was looking for. Will keep it around for emergencies and if I use it treat it as a dumb charger.

Looking for a good, fast, four bay AA travel charger.

Thanks for backing me up on the 15 minute charger Silverfox! I have a pile of chargers here Panasonic, Sanyo, Maha c204w, maha 9000 at work plus I have several 15 minute chargers. They work fine, yes the batteries do get warm at the end even with the built in fan blowing on them. I think I read...

Looking for a good, fast, four bay AA travel charger.

How about the Energizer 15 minute charger? There are two versions an older gray model and newer black model. I have read lots of failures on the black model so I suggest the older gray model. You can get it with its own car cord. You can charge 4 aa or aaa in 15 minutes. It has 4 independant...
