    Looking for a small, tough light.

    I think the light you are wanting is the HDS. Very small, tough as nails, and almost guaranteed to last through abuse. The only problem is finding one, or waiting months for delivery. I highly recommend you do a search on this site and maybe candlepowerforums.com and do some research about them...
