Modifying a Milwaukee M18, need suggestions on parts (led, driver, etc)

The head is aluminum. I attached a photo of the area behind where the led is mounted. I'll be honest I do not know enough about how to modify the resistor on the current driver. It might be easier for me to get a compatible led and driver and wire them together. Thanks!

Modifying a Milwaukee M18, need suggestions on parts (led, driver, etc)

Hello, It's been a long while since I've modified a flashlight and I'm out of date with current tech (last I knew the P7 was the LED to have). My Milwaukee M18 led light is pretty sad and puts out minimal light. I'd like to upgrade the led and need suggestions on which LED and driver to use...

How to increase the flood of a reflector

I just got a light from DX, R2 led - 18650. The reflector is all OP, yet there is hardly any flood or spill, and just a tight hotspot. Is it possible to spray it with some clean lacquer or something to get rid of the hotspot?

BessieBenny's Budget LED (DX/KD etc) Flashlights Review Roundup (Part IX)

Looking for a floody <$20 led light I am trying to find a decent <$20 led light with lots of flood to mount on my bike. I would prefer that it use either 2x CR123A's or 1x 18650. The runtime needs to be at least 1.5 hours, and multi-mode is okay too. I have tried searching cpf and dx...

Looks good. I am planning to do the same mod when my A9 arrives. How many amps are you going to be running the P7 at? Take plenty of pictures as you go along, make sure to keep this updated. Good luck.

What medium sized host for a P7 mod?

Hello, Well first I was planning on modding my 3D maglite with a P7, but realized that the size would be too big to carry daily (at work). I read StefanFS' Tiablo A8 P7 mod...and looks very nice. My friend has a Tiablo A9 (knock off), but regardless the size, and shape is just what I am...

    P7 with alkaline batteries?

with 3 - NiMH's it would be 3.6v, and the minimum input voltage is 3.6, so I would think it would fall out of regulation fast (once it goes below 3.6v). Also, what driver are you using to drive the p7 at 3.0A? Thanks
