My EDC for years has been a Surefire A2 Aviator. The LED ring provides moderate illumination. The main beam is pretty bright. The A2 is the size of an E2 but more flexible since it has two different emitters. I have yet to see another light with the simplicity and flexibility of the A2 in...
Everything arrived in perfect condition. I got the FM body a few days before so I put all the pieces together and enjoyed the beautiful, smooth flood of light. A Surefire K44 head arrived a day or two later and I noticed the window was closer to the front; this produced a little wider flood so...
Thank you for that information, Dave. PayPal has been sent for a single mode triple XP-G2 neutral (R5). After considering the options, I think I'll take a small hit on lumens for a little better tint.
I'll look around your store for other goodies like a 26650 or two. Now all I need is a D26...
It has been fun reading this thread. I have been looking for a less expensive way to have something like the RoomSweeper that Milky Spit built for Hogokansatkukan a few years ago. Based on what I've been reading here, I want your copper mule with a triple XP-G2 R5 3D for maximum output. I...

nightshade, I bought a CountyComm LaWallet several years ago, perhaps when this thread was still fresh. I have stuffed more than its designed capacity into it and it is just now to the point where I want to replace it. I was getting a bit frustrated with several Google searches until I...
They're back, and I'm subscribed. I'll have to show Ariella the boys are in business again. Does this mean you have graduated with many honors, most honorable Hogo?
I recently stumbled across this thread and read through the whole thing. I'm impressed -- again. I still EDC an A2 with your single-mode warm-white LED ring. I'm slightly bummed that project is now closed since I finally have funds to get a multi-mode ring. I'm still watching the second sale...
Thanks for the PM, GL. I've been busy and away from CPF for a while. It is good to see Hogo restart this tale of adventure. :twothumbs We'll have something else to read while we're celebrating Thanksgiving with my mother near Phoenix.
Ariella (yes, good spelling) is busily getting the first...
Or, if you have a Surefire A2, take a look at the UV LED rings offered by calipsoii. He says they emit 375nm which should cure Norland well. I haven't yet used this adhesive, but I have the UV ring for my A2 and find the workmanship very good.
Hope that helps,
Steve
That's the combo that is always in my pocket. The only time it's not on me is when I'm in bed or mowing the lawn. Even when I'm sleeping it's in the pants hanging on the bedpost, ready to respond to bumps in the night.
Well, if it's such a sorry light for you, you can ship it to me. :naughty...
Good for you! Not trying to skew your priorities; just want to encourage you.
but it's a great thread!
They're certainly my preference. I find most automatics burn a little more gasoline to get me where I want to go.
You live and work in a state far more sane than California so...
