Come to think about it... I don't know why a GD. What should I use for this set up that would provide flat regulation? It would of course, need to fit in an E1b head.
Hey Everyone,
I'm taking an approximately 6 month break from CPF. I am proud to announce that I am starting the Sheriffs academy in a couple of weeks. I've been spending most of my time preparing for the academy through physical training and memorization work. I am hired through the department...
Hi guys,
I want to put a GD driver in an E1b to have a single mode pocket rocket. I want to drive it as hard as possible while maintaining a 60 min. runtime. Does anyone know which GD driver will achieve this? I plan to keep the stock emitter and CR123 primary.
Are you serious? What batch of Novatac did you get (I have SN 11021)? The olive colored ones have terrible finishes. I heard the black ones are much better including their knurling, but the olive ones I can almost see bare metal in addition to their shallow knurling. I have no doubt that it's...
Going from H to I bin should decrease your runtime, while going from U to U2 should (key word should) increase your output.
As far as tint variation, it's quite rare in my experience that two emitters have indistinguishable tints even if they have the same code.
Any EXTERNALLY rechargeable light over 100 lumen. Most of the LEO I know (I am close with many) work 12 hours shifts. Particularly when they work back to back 12 hour shifts, they do not like unscrewing tailcaps, charging individual cells, and then waking up in the morning to put it all back...
Are you talking about protecting the lens of an LED flashlight, or are you talking about protecting the dome of the LED emitter itself?
And why would you need to do either?
Same brightness and ruggedness. One is aluminum which will show its wear over time, one is a composite material. The M3 has a rubber gasket around it for "shock isolation" but the G3's nitrolon absorbs shock also, and there doesn't seem to be anyone crying out about blowing bulbs due to shock in...
Come on guys, it's probably some 18 year old in a cubical getting paid $8/hr to filter out stupid questions (no offense to op). It's not like someone in the engineering/design staff replied.
But really... you don't send emails to Nissan asking why don't all their cars produce 306hp when they...
