    I'd be disappointed with that level of 'dirt' under the lens as well. What you see in your pictures is not common, if I got one like that, I'd give Henry a chance to make it right. If you are after a refund, Henry is very prompt in refunding money. Is yours a HiCRI, a 250, 325? Thanks...

    The thrower half of my thrower/flooder pair that I carry, is the Surefire EB1T. It has an optic and throws like nobody's business (with just enough spill to be useful). EB1T is a 1xCR123/RCR123 light, you could also try the EB2T which is a 2xCR123 (might take 1x18650, not sure). ThumperACC

    bkpdle, thanks for this. I have ordered an F04 to go with my new rotary. I will go with this for a while. If I find I 'always' have the flood filter on, I will order the diffuse reflector. It is an inexpensive way to see if I prefer flood ($12 vs $42). ThumperACC
