    Claimed CCT ratings of bulbs

Well not really -- https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/12972WHVSM/whitevision-car-headlight-bulb -- "Maximum white light with a colour temperature of 3700 Kelvin" I also checked with the shop, I they say that still a few months ago they (the bulbs) had 4300K on the box, just curious why this change.

    Claimed CCT ratings of bulbs

Hello, Today I bought a pair of Philips WhiteVision bulbs, now everywhere I looked till now they were stated as "4300K", while the ones I bough are state as "up to 3700K". Checked on Philips site and is the same (up to 3700K). Anyone know if they reduced the color temperature or was the original...

Locating a bad cell in a series battery pack of NiMh cells

Don't know what kind of battery pack it is, but usually yes, you have to take it apart (or unwrap it) and measure each cell separately. To cheer you up a little, there is no need to unsolder the cells (well you have to change the bad cell), just get to them to use a DMM.

    Convoy C8

I have the XP-L HI version and must also say that for ~20$ is really a great light! Manybe they could just rise the price by 0.10$ and include the instructions to program the UI in the box :p

    Zebralight H600F c/d mk3 85cri and XM-L 2?

OK, got the clip (the MH20 one) and the case, well it's a padded pouch to be precise but it does the job nicely :) The clip fits perfectly, very tight, no need to worry to loose it, but you have to be careful when putting it up or down not to scratch the anodizing on the light (I did :mecry:)...

    REVIEW: Nitecore NU10 Headlamp

Thanks for the review, I find the NU20 & NU30 more useful tho (or more to my liking if you want). Just a small observation, in the first picture, the box if of the green model, but inside is the blue one

    Headlamp for outdoor cooking

Another option is the Nitecore NU20 high CRI, the NU30 also has a high CRI flood setting If I remember correctly, both are USB rechargable.

    Mechanic's headlamp?

Hi JudgeHolden :welcome: Since body work and engine work are close up jobs, I would opt for a full flood headlamp, the only ones I know of are made by Zebralight, the model H502d which runs on AA, or H603d which runs on 18650 cells. Both are high CRI and daylight white.

I need a light with more throw than my Zebralight SC600W MK II

What if you just try to put a bit of solder on the battery to make it a button top?

What Background Color is most suitable for Miboxer charger?

Not sure I understand the question, you mean the display? I like the black on blue display. White on black would be also interesting (if there is enough contrast to be easily readable). A green on black (Matrix stile) may be interesting too .

    My experience with Armytek headlamps

Don't want to bother them (I already do it enough when I need it), don't have any Armytek lights on my buy list atm. Was just curious if anyone know something.

    My experience with Armytek headlamps

It may be a bit off topic, but anyone knows if Nkon is dropping Armytek lights? They have lowered the price on all of them and only have 4 models on the list now. Something similar was going on with Fenix before they dropped them.
