[Review] - Sofirn SP36 - 6000lm, Neutral White, 3x18650 - by Lock

I bought recently a version of this flashlight, Sofirn SP36 BLF Anduril 4*Samsung LH351D 5650 lumens, I'm really happy with it. This is my first multiple 18650 flashlight, so I don't have much to compare to. I agree that the build quality and overall feel of this is really nice.

    clicky vs twisty

That is an interesting observation! But I guess that would make the battery tube (and the flashlight as a whole) a little bulkier, wouldn't it?

Review of Astrolux A01: Pics and Runtime

Hey KiwiMark, I just found this thread looking for any information about people that thought the Astrolux A01 had too short screws... That was the first thing that caught my attention when I got one of these in may hands. I thought the head would be easily lost as it is needed only a few turns...

    Please help a 18650 noob.

Hello mcdj, I was going to suggest something similar as what dgbrookman suggested: a Liitokala Lii-100 and a Sanyo NCR18650B. I have a Convoy S2+ and it fits well a protected NCR18650B that I have, which is considerably larger in height and diameter, due to the protection circuit, button top...

    clicky vs twisty

Hello flashaholic friends, I know this is a really old thread, but I gess it is still a relevant one. I don't have a prefered type of switch, I like both and have several flashlights of both types. At first, I tend to think that the twisties are more reliable, due to less moving parts. Currently...

    Nitecore MH2A - Opinions

I know this thread is old, but just in case it interests anyone... I bought 2 of this some time ago with the dedicated battery. It has two cells physically in series, but the voltage is 3.7V, so I assume they are actually two 14500 connected in parallel. It seems there is a flat conductor...

    Test/Review of Sanyo UR18650ZY 2600mAh (Red)

Thanks for this review, HKJ! Regarding it not being IMR (Lithium-Manganese) Li-Ion, so does that mean it is ICR (Lithium-Cobalt) Li-Ion?

HELLO. New here and i got some questions .

Hello Oriels, I will try to answer some of your questions based on my experience, but the experts here in cpf may give you more authoritative advices. 1 - you can buy good batteries from ebay, just make sure you buy from dealers with good reputation. I have had good experiences buying NiMH and...

How to disassemble a Li-Ion pack

    [ QUOTE ]
#1. I personally haven't seen this pack configuration but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I vaguely remember someone posting a link for a Li-ion flashlight that seemed to have a long [cells end to end] pack of some sort.

Not sure if this is what you saw, but...

    New! Olight S10RII

This is already on Olight's website. Nice looks with the blue bezel!

OLight rubber switch durability in baton series?

Hope this helps, the S1 has a blue metal bezel, this is a new flashlight. The S10 has red (first gen) or blue (updated) GITD rubber ring on the lens and silver (not painted) metal bezel. As far as I know, all S10s have a plastic side switch, which can be blue, black with an "S" inscription...

Have you made a convert of anyone into a Flashaholic?

I gave LLs to my dad, uncle and aunties. I know, Ledlensers are not well regarded here, but they are still much better than lhe lights we can buy in stores here in Brazil. I prefered to not go with lithium. They loved the lights, but for sure are not converts... I also gave an Olight s20 to a...

CatEye Volt 6000 - 6000 lumens bike light!

Actually, as the OP said, this is a flooder, and the text in the link explains how this is achieved (through refraction in a special lens). Looks a great light!
