For anyone with bodies are your threads crazy tight ? Had to remove my KX1B tonight and it actually came apart, had to use a strap wrench.

FYI, I cleaned the threads with a toothbrush, sanded the rough/sharp edges and used Nyogel on mine. No issues yet

Apologies, Fivemega, for causing confusion during our PM's last night! I was intoxicated to the point of blindness and incomprehensibility. I am not proud of this, and I hope this does not reflect poorly on my patronage for your generously provided host solutions.

Hosts arrived, cleaned, and run. Very pleased! For 18350 tube, space is exactly height of 18350 flattop, so load cells with tailcap loose, tighten head, then tighten tailcap to avoid crushing cells. I probably need a shorter or looser tail spring. Crushed almost all my cells before I figured out that with a looser spring, cells would not crush. Reccommend Keeppower 1200mAh 18350, or I think Aspire labels the same cell. It is disorienting how much runtime these new 1200mAh hybrid chem cells get compared to the 550mAh IMR variety. Let's buy them up and keep them in business.
