AA/123 charger and battery recommendation

I need a AAA / AA / 123 / 18650 charger and batteries for around the house for general use and of course our EDC lights. I am guessing I will need a charger for each type of battery? I want a family (wife) friendly solution which for me means a charger I can forget batteries in, protected cells, and a decent warranty or replacements available at a box store?

For AAA and AA, Sanyo Eneloops are the best thing going.

For 3.7v rechargeable 123/18650 cells, you can't really beat AW brand.

The Nitecore Intellicharger is a charger that works pretty well, and works with both types of batteries I mentioned above. You can buy the i2 version which houses two cells at a time, or the i4 version which has 4 charging bays.

Only real drawback is you can only charge one battery type at a time - no mixing and matching of Eneloops w/ lithium ion AW cells.

Also check out the soshine sc-s7 for travel use. It only charges one at a time, but does both types off of usb.
