I have managed to figure out how to get the QTC to function properly for me so it's working well.
great to hear

and glad your Thrunite Ti3 is working well for you..
the Ti3 is a great twisty option, but those hosts are no longer available..

Oh, they're still out there. Just not from Thrunite.
iTP A3 EOS just one example.

A shame they discontinued the Ti3. I still have a few including an old V1(?) and titanium that only works with the aluminum body and head.
Can't explain it.

sometimes the driver pill gets tightened deeper into the head, by the action of tightening the body.. and in some cases that ends up pushing the driver out of reach of the body tube

the solution is to unscrew the driver pill slightly..
some pics showing the tweezers I use

here is one of my Titanium Ti3

I also think the titanium may have slightly stripped threads as it can come apart but screws in securely to the aluminum body parts. Was going to throw it out until I discovered it worked with the aluminum parts. LEDs not great but functional.

this back AAA twistie is one of my favorites.
Next to a Hoku for size comparison.
The black host is $6.
Good reflector. I forget what driver and LED is in it. I have quite a few of these black hosts
