Hello guys, I would like to show the Acebeam brightest (5000lm) single led flashlight, K60 with new, powerful Cree XH-P70 LED.
Features (from official site),
Level 2: 50lm (60h)
Level 3: 700lm (8h)
Level 4: 1700lm (3h)
Level 5: 3400lm (1h30m)
Level 6: 5000lm (1h)
Standby: 65uA
Strobe: 5000lm (3h)
My impressions
Pros
+ Excellent machining and high build quality, nice details, grip surface etc
+ Perfect, scratch-free anodizing, very nice semi matte surface
+ K60 available in four colors: Olive green, Sand Tan, Grey and Black
+ High quality OP reflector for perfect smooth beam with AR coated glass lens
+ Perfectly centered LED (guaranteed in every K60)
+ Ultra high performance only from one LED which is brighter, than many other MT-G2, MK-R or 3/4*XM-L2 flashlights
+ Very nice white tint (incl. hotspot, corona, spill, in all modes)
++ NO PWM or other irritating flickering, all modes looks perfect
++ NO buzzing sounds
+ Easy one hand operation
+ Users can use longer protected cells or standard size 18650 unprotected/flat top batteries without any problem
+ Precise magnetic ring (close to perfect) much more precise than my Thrunite TN35 ring
+ Good looking SS bezel
+ Good quality holster (not full size holster)
+ Tail stand capable
+ Very good price/value ratio
Cons
- No real cons for me, but I would like to see a small battery indicator led (similar solution as on Acebeam X60/X60M)
Other comments
I'm really impressed! The XH-P70 LED performance, beam type, tint, the K60 build quality, battery configuration (4*18650) etc. Overall, close to perfect for me.
I recommend (chargers, batteries):
Chargers: XTAR VC4 (need a wall adaptor), VP4 or 2*VP1/VP2.
Unprotected high drain batteries for maximum performance (for advanced users only): Sony Konion US18650VTC5 2600mAh, Samsung INR18650-25R, LG ICR18650 HE2.
Protected or other IMR cells: Keeppower's black IMR cells, Acebeam own batteries or other VTC5, 25R, HE2 or similar high drain cell based batteries.
For longer runtime: LG INR18650 MJ1 3500mAh, Samsung INR18650-35E 3500mAh, Keeppower 3400/3500mAh cells etc.
Attention! Many fake Sony VTC5 batteries available on market, so I highly recommend, pls check dealers, before buy this battery. I recommend (especially for european members) AkkuTeile.de which is reliable source, if need original VTC5 cells or other batteries.
And now pls check my photos, beamshots etc, more photos coming soon. If need higher res, pls click the photos
