Anyone safely using 14500 in EZAA?

AW14500 in EZAA?

What kind of 14500 are you guys using?

looks like I have older AW 14500's. It appears the new ones have better + buttons.

Here is a Pic.

Selfbuilt mentioned that Nitecore informed that the revised EZAA circuit is able to use Li-ion 14500.

Selfbuilt had concerns that the AA might be to big for a key chain light. This has turned out not to be the case. Size is perfect.

So is anyone using 14500 cells in their EZAA?

[FONT=&quot] They fit right in, a little hard to twist from low to high. It may be that the R2 is slightly more efficient than earlier versions; you can run bright as much as you want in normal use and the R2 does not get hot to the touch.[/FONT]

Does not state in the user manual about using 14500 batteries
