We saw the third Fantastic Beasts movie yesterday afternoon; pretty good if you like that kind of movie. Wife bought 12 year old son the small popcorn portion; plenty of food and rather distracting to hear.

Last time I went to the cinema it was to see league of extraordinary gentlemen, which must have been nearly twenty years ago.

I was still a smoker and the film was poor, I couldn't get out of there quick enough.

As a child getting popcorn and hot dogs was all part of the experience, which was all the better as forty years ago growing up we never had takeaways or fast food. Very very occasionally a Chinese meal at the table with the whole family, but to me Mac Donald's or KFC were exotic. So eating at the cinema was all part of the magic.
