Battery Code Q?

Can anyone explain what the letter at the end of battery descriptions mean? For example the "B" on [h=1]NCR18650B[/h]

Just a model designator, not a description.

Means in general, an incremental evolution, likely quite similar to the previous model but improved to some extent.

As opposed to a whole new line with a different basic chemistry formulation.

NCR18650A = 3100mAh

NCR18650B = 3400mAh

NCR18650G = 3600mAh

NCR18650GA= 3500mAh/10A continuous current.
