What do you experts recommend for VERY bright torches? Here's my set up:
I've upgraded my caving/abandoned mine setup with good headlamps. (3 or 4 on the hemet, Zebra spot, zebra flood, Fenix pd35 and a Chinese Windfire $20 2 18650 headlamp.)
I may be getting a Kavelight if Kevin ever messages me back.
For torches, I'm currently using another Fenix PD35 and 20V Dewalt work light that hangs off my backpack
(I like the runtime of the Dewalt even though it's size is impractical). It's throw is ridiculous, almost unusable how tiny the hot spot is.
I use protected Panasonic cells and an XTAR charger
Backup lights are a BlackDiamond Storm, another Chinese "1600 lumen" headlamp, and a pen streamlight.
I feel like I need more light in my hands. I don't mind size. I may just keep it in my backpack and get it out for the really big rooms. The last big mine Stope room really swallowed up all our lights, even on turbo.
I've seen Thrunite mentioned on here....
Thanks! Feel free to criticize my set up. Your expertise has gotten me this far, you guys are amazing!
