well so far i love my new knife it is so sharp its crazy almost afraid to pick it up

Glad that you are digging your new knife!

When you get used to working with a sharp knife, you will never want to go back to using a dull one.

You can do some light stropping on the cardboard on the back of a note pad to help keep it sharp, but eventually it will need to be sharpened.

Honestly, every cheap kitchen knife I've used over the decades has needed sharpening practically every other day. So far, the only one that has proven to be cheap but good is the last one I bought.... Cold Steel Commercial series Western Hunter fixed blade knife. 6" blade, drop point. Even comes with a sheath. This has been my main knife in my kitchen for the last 2 or 3 months. Still scary sharp. Hasn't needed resharpening, yet.

Cost = $27.oo
