Great! My TK61vn will soon have a big brother, the X60vn. Six new 3400 mAh AW protected 18650's are awaiting their "first light."

I know you said you are done these 'forever', but if you put one of these up on the charity post I am sure you could raise $500.

I think you will only get max output from this light with unprotected high drain cells. I bought 6 sony vtc5's for this light.

So this batch will be like the first or will they be less powerful?

OK, vinh, I will be making payment on this light.

If you can't wait for a few days let me know and I'll bow out.

Your name is on the list. The light is already reserved for you. When you actually pay doesn't concerned me too much ;-)

Vinh, have you heard anything about the mtg2 version X60?

(With 10,000 lumens claimed they must be using at least 3 but most likely 4 leds?)

It's using a 5 MTG2 led setup.

Here you go: http://www.supbeam.com/en/10000-lumens-supbeam-x60-v2#.U2pS0vldWn9

Five MTG2's!?!? Depending on the driver, and what magic Vinh can perform with it, we can end up with over 15000 lumens :D Although good high drain batteries would be needed, and that head would probably be hot enough to boil water in under 2 minutes.

Vinh, when you get around to this... I'll take one, dedome, pushed to the max, figure it's better to "pre-order" with you instead of directly.
