Convert Pelican Dive light to LED?

considering that the original poster asked the question in 2013, and then was heard from no further, I'd say no. Seems it firmly falls into the "more trouble than it's worth" category.

I know this post is a bit dated, but It seems the issue was heat and ventilation. Has anyone seen the 8D with factory ventilation? or do most people know it only as a dive light?
