How big will this edc x be? It has to be bigger than my hds Rotary or zebralight sc600 right? I'm thinking, if it's bigger than those lighst, then it probably can't be my edc... :(

The DEFT-edc-X head diameter would be 14mm larger than the sc600. I wear carpenter pants almost every day and it fits perfect in the little side pocket on my pants leg. It is a large edc but definitely edc-able unlike the larger DEFT-X.

Michael,,,,,,,,,would they take 16340 rechargeable and/or primary cr123?

THANKS,,,,,,,,,

It can but I highly recommend high drain batteries. This thing is a beast.;)

Thanks for size info! Mmm... Does it come with a pocket clip? Haha
No pocket clip. :p
Is this going to be a zoomie like LR? And if so, how's about ring artifacts?
Although it is possible to defocus the beam for more spread I would not classify this as a zoom light. This thing has one purpose in life. Be the absolute best thrower by far at this size. ;)

Just a quick note to let you all know that it will be in limited release starting sometime tonight. About 20 units available. More info and specs released at that time.

Thank you Mike for the heads up!
Is the sale going to happen on OSTS web store? If yes is there a page already built?

So what emitter did you use for the EDC-X? I assume 2x18350 will work (or are they too long?)

Oh and we need some EDC-X flashlight porn (EDC-XXX?)

My wallet is a little lighter but my jeans pocket will soon be a little heavier. :D

Now we wait for Le Vainqueur.

As some of you have already noticed the first batch of lights are up. I have added as much info as I have had time tonight to the OP. Will add more info and beamshots in a day or two. Thanks everyone!
