Perhaps not. I've not seen examples other than the plain box with a sticker for the Dobermann Pro. The boxes of the 2 I received were plain as well. I received the 2nd one after the dealer had restocked, 2 months after I purchased the 1st one. Unless AT decided to sell the dealer consecutive batches of pre-release lights without telling the dealer, I don't believe mine were pre-release samples.

My dealer and I have asked the question. To follow...
That is the tint that bothered me a lot. A lot warmer than my 2 others Armitek with the same XP-L HI. For someone who prefer a more neutral light, the one that I have will be perfect. I am on the cw side. If I had not the 2 others, I will not know. It is when you put the 3 together, you see that difference. It is more pronounce in lower mode.

This light is flawless, perfect centred emitter...works perfectly, working heat sensor, just the tint...

I put the two lights in a kleenex box....to the ceiling. The picture is a bit blurry but you can see the tint difference between two XP-L HI.

The spot is tighter than the predator but seems the same on the picture. In a word, not a nice shot with my iPhone but we clearly see the tint.

@Armitek

Since I know that your specs are not accurate;

What is the difference in these statements:
FULL (*Digital in Max mode)

FULL (in all modes) This one I know.

What does Digital means?

Does the Doberman Pro v3 has a different stabilisation mode than the Predator Pro and the Barracuda Pro?

It means that in Max mode brightness remains maximal while power source has a very high voltage (approximately 20 min, depending on power source type). Then brightness starts to reduce gradually.
It helps to get more long-duration time of work.
Dobermann Pro has the same driver as Viking Pho has. There is a mistake on the website. Thank you for your attention - we will correct it.

No answers from service. They must have many calls...not good when the service is insufficent to demand. I hope that it is not related to a decrease in quality.

My dealer is waiting for a response from ArmyTek as well...that is what he told me.

Please write me your contact information, I will contact our service specialist to solve your problem.

I'm interested in ordering Dobermann Pro XP-L HI from a Finnish company. I'm wondering now if anyone's had any problems with the XP-L HI version. I've read problems with disabling the strobe, has it been fixed in HI version?

Also, Armytek site tells me Dobermann XP-L HI does not have built-in high temperature indication. Is this true? The site tells the same about normal version, but Armytek posted earlier that 4 blinks is high temperature indication. The manual I found by googling (couldn't find it on Armytek's site) does not describe high temperature indication.

Are there different versions of Pro HI model?

About indication in Dobermann.
We have changed firmware according to our customers` wishes.
Active temperature control is still on- when the temperature becomes critical, a flashlight insensibly throws off the brightness a bit (not at the same way as it was before)
and then raise it again, when the temperature starts to lower.
Those changes were made recently. So dealers can have versions with a previous firmware.

Yes, that is my case. With high temp, the output decrease around 50% and stay like that. If I close the light and open it again, it returns on high mode.

I have a hard time with Sandra at the service from Armitek. I described my two issues, the 5 cycles instead of 3 and the warmer tint than my other 2 armitek xp-l hi. I sent her a photo. The same I have posted above.

She wants me to do a video of the issue and a lot of funny thing.....what a service Armitek. A picture to prove a tint color is not enough. If they did their light correctly, we will not to have to do all that crap with the service.

I finally did the video. We cannot see the tint difference because my iphone adjust the light intensity automaticaly.
But we see the 5 cycles. If it was only the 5 cycles, I would have kept the light.
I sent it to her.

I sent a mail to my seller to deal with them. I don't like talking to a robot to answer funny question not related and not in my native language. I tried to stay polite but for now......[emoji34][emoji34][emoji34][emoji34].

I do not post my last mail between her 2 last because I think it is inapropriate according to the forum's rules.

To follow.....

Our specialist writes to you according to company`s rule. Sandra should ask you a few standard questions. And sometimes we need a video to understand the problem better.
And posting your personal mail exchange with service manager isn`t right.
