As you get older and age you'll notice some of your holes the gaskets will leak a little.. but no worries, leakage is good let's you know crankcase has fluids
What about all my bearings and suspension / steering / other bushings and.....

That's the stuff killin' me - it ain't leaks! (yet) :)

I actually have a 9" 3rd member. Sadly it's in my '77 F150.
Well you'll likely not need to worry about that piece breaking if it's assembled right. If anything, the Ford 9", (which is reproduced after market and used in just about everything these days when it has to be STRONG) is even more legendary than the Dana 60. If you break either of those, well, good luck finding anything better!

Methinks, people tracking flashlights in movies and TV etc., points to excess consumption of flashahol (unless of course they think it's one of theirs).

I seen some lights in Jurassic Park 2 and went online to try to figure out what they were. I think there was an old style Surefire 6P in there at one point.
