well i received it somedays ago and today that the body came I put it to test and focus....

Observations....In the Solarforce bodies it requires a P60dropin outer spring to make contact...Good thining FM for taking that into consideration when designing the main body circumference!

Now is there a bulb that will run on 4 18650-18500s??

+1

I've got mine in a Solarforce 18650 body + extension, and had to use an outer spring. I'm currently running it with a Magcharger bulb, overdriven by a pair of Trustfire 18650s. It's putting out at least 300 lumens with a 1.93 amp draw. Nice focus and output with good (~50 minutes) runtime.
The WA1111 bulb it came with is much brighter but of course with a shorter runtime.

I think any bulb that you'd power with 4 li-ions would be too big for the reflector. You're limited to T-2.25 bulbs.

Looking at the Welch Allyn bulb list.

I see the 1115 http://www.walamp.com/lpd/webstore/...&L2=1.23296809471276&adj=5&partnumber=01115-U

The 1126 http://www.walamp.com/lpd/webstore/...&L2=1.58072832655482&adj=5&partnumber=01126-U

and the 1282 http://www.walamp.com/lpd/webstore/...&L2=1.79149210342879&adj=5&partnumber=01282-U

All of which rerate as to being able to handle 14.8 volts with life spans >15 hrs. the links should bring up the re rated 14.8 volt specs.

Unfortunatly they are all only producing 6xx lumens, no mega blasters here. And there is also the problem of finding someone who sells them.
