I'm with the gang. throwing a red light into a room and leaving sounds beyond careless, reckless, and a bunch of other words that would be used to explain how shocked I am that anyone in their right mind would want to do that. :shakehead

good luck with finding the light though.

Okay,LAST TIME EVERYONE, we all agreee that NOT CHECKING AN AREA is DANGEROUS. :crackup:Thank you all for the concern, but what I am after is the flashlight. I would use this light in training and in real world. As some of you may now, some items are easliy approved for purchase, others not so much. Some items are approved for use ,others are not. If a ready made can be purchased, great. Cheaply made, also great. I'm just trying to find options other than glowsticks.

does it have to be double ended? i remember the first muliti-colour LED is the, gerber recon, but it has 4 LED colours. red, white, green and blue. the first link is the cheapest i've found so far just doing a quick google search.

this next link is the gerber x which i believe they don't make anymore. it does have the r/g/w, but this is a xenon bulb.

Tried those. They are bright enough ,cheap enough, but somewhat small and hard to turn on while wearing gloves.

How about 2AA Maglites + Accessory Packs? I believe the accessory packs each come with red and blue lenses. Not too sophisticated but at least it would be fairly cheap.

I've been looking for a LED double ended flashlight. what I want is a single unit with red light on one end and green on the other. Small, somewhat durable and affordable. Anything like this exist? It would be used as a marker light in emergency situations. Someone would have to carry a couple of them and deploy them as needed.

Get the D mag of your choice. Add a colored filter over the bezel, its like a $10 kit and includes a hexagonal rubber anti-roll boot that fits over the bezel.

Add a flash cap in whatever color you want. These are REALLY neat additions to a mag. I played around with the amber one at modamags meet and its a SOLID hunk of optical transparent plastic.
