I ran across these http://destinyledlight.en.alibaba.c..._light_220V_4W_led_filament_candle_light.html this is the best link for them i know of today .
other links http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Expr...0V-Warm-White-Glass-Cover/1809640724.html?s=p & http://www.dx.com/p/mlsled-mlx-t45-...mp-yellow-translucent-white-ac220-240v-329502.

In the links are shown filiment like bulb items , with LED and MLSLED words used, claims of 4W , and claims of 40W
I do not see any actual curcuits being applied. when the bulbs are lite up, they look like something from the year 1920, the original long winding back and forth filiments glowing like a candle. When the light is not lite up, it looks like yellow phosphors on top of long wires, going much of the length of the bulb.
The word Orsram is applied (as if that means anything at DX).
Searches for this MLSLED only come up with "did you mean Misled" yea I did sort of, am I being misled?

Is this idea of the strung out led emitters or gates discussed anywhere yet?
Is this Real, or just phosphors tossed on a tungsten? What are they doing?
What is the ramifications? does it work?
Anything ?

So the answer is NOT. they did not invent something new, just reinvented the placement.
It is just a bunch of small, low current operated emitters in a row, in a tube , that is then aligned into a glass bulb, to look like incadescent bulb.
