Love my new 3c maglite

Cool! I've been wanting to put one of these together for a while and I have to order some Lithium batteries for a few bored Surefires.

What is the most common battery combination on a C cell where you don't have to do any modification to the light?

I'm guessing it's 2 x 18500s in a 2C with some sort of spacer with a KPR 118 bulb.

That would be the closest yes but in my 3c I only had to extend it 20mm. After I made my sleeve I threaded a short brass machine screw in the end to take up the difference. 18650s give much better runtime for barely any extra length. I'd use a 5 cell maglite bulb personally if you can find an older potted one as it's perfect really
