I thought the Mini GT is the exact same size as the D1S, which is smaller than the Catapult V6. Btw, how come there's no Oslon version for the Catapult?

Always wanted to love the D1Svn but just couldnt! D1Svn have everything I wanted in a compact dedicated thrower but soemthing intangible about it left me wanting more. GTvn Mini completes that void. Absolutely love this light. Excellent job to the team that worked on this light!!!

For me it's just the aesthetics of the D1s; it looks weird as hell. The Mini GT has a nicer taper from handle to head, while the D1s has this awkward stepped look. The Manker U21 has that awkward stepped look as well, but the 26650 tube is thicker, and the angles that transition from head to heatsink and from heatsink to handle are less extreme than on the D1s. If D1s were a 26650 light I think it'd be way more appealing.

Vinh received one batch of Cat6's and did a power boost to them then sold out of them fast, and has been waiting for new ones to arrive, so he hasn't had a chance to try different LEDs in it yet. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers Cat6 get with Black Flat. If D1s/GT mini hit around 300k with Black Flat, and U21 hits around 460k, I'm theorizing Cat6 to hit somewhere in the range of 370-400k with the Black Flat.

GT mini and Cat6 are the exact same length, whereas the D1s and GT mini have the exact same bezel diameter at the top of the head. Cat6 and U21 have the same head bezel diameter as well. Cat6 won't look huge next to the GT mini, just thicker overall. I actually prefer the thickness of 26650 handles myself.

Thanks twisted, you answered all my questions that I did not want to ask....I already felt I was asking too many questions and didn't want to flood the thread. I was about to do the research later today and now I don't.
