What "new 9011" bulb do you have in mind? I'm not aware of a new 9011 design from any maker.

Keep in mind, the "plus" bulbs don't just produce more light, they improve beam focus and thus seeing distance.

Oh...I guess I was in error when I saw that the gen3 9012 type HIR had been available, that there would subsequently be a gen3 9011 type HIR to follow.
If there is no gen 3 9011 HIR to come, I have to go for the current model, not so bad.

I don't doubt that there would be improvements from a 'plus' bulb over stock, it would have to be proportional to price paid to really get my attention like the HIR has considering they are at nearly the same price point.
