There is a lot of tannen (sp) in the water here. Maybe that's it.

We all drink bottled water. Try Zephyrhills...it's yummy. See you at SHOT>

I wish... Orlando is just a bit too far to drive from Baton Rouge with my work schedule what it is. I wish that they still had them in Houston or Dallas.

To any of you that can go and have not been before, GO! The SHOT Show is like Christmas and Mardis Gras all rolled up into one. We have covered it *mostly* in a day, but to really see the entire show you need to plan on at least 2 days there. Wear the MOST comfortable shoes you own regardless what they look like and take either a luggage cart or a good backpack for freebies and catalogs.

Hi there folks
I and a number of UK torchies were thinking of orgainising a gathering in Wales... not necessarily a "show" in the truest sense of the word, but an event where we can all put our torches through thier paces in a real world situation! Beamshots at white walls and white papers are ok, but we want to see how the torches perform in woods, mountains and foul weather! (It's not always foul in Nant Gwynnant!)
We can then review our lighting devices in thier natural usage environment!
Please feel free to add to the torchaholics gathering in the UK topic with your ideas...

Looks like the much vaunted attendence of The LED Museum at this year's SHOT show (and all the pictures I'd be merrily beaming back to CPF) is no more. A pipe dream, thanks to another damned aneurism that showed up in a cat scan.

D'Oh to the 13 power.

Craig, we're all rooting for you. Please do not delay any needed medical attention. And as much as possible, please try to keep in touch with your CPF family. You have a lot of friends in the world.

Best regards,
Lighthouse
