Recommended light for EDC in pocket / belt clip

Got the light. Actually used it a bit, the dog ran into the brush chasing something. It was an opposum that ran up a tree. The light is quite powerful for such a little thing. Money well spent. Not sure why ive never had a light when im doing edgy things like walking alone at night. Next thing on the light is likely an auto-knife.

that what happened to me. I was surprised i never had a EDC flashlight until about 1 year when i got into the hobby. It changed my world!!

An excellent light. Bought one myself over both the similar types of lights offered by Olight, and Fenix.

USA made single AA limits you significantly. Peak and Malkoff are the only two I know of. Both great. The Malkoff MDC AA is an exceptional light but triple tap for high mode. I have the streamlight 1L-AA as well as the 90 degree version. While imported they are wonderful lights. Low mode is more like a medium but its pretty easy to get at the LED to hot-air reflow if you wanted something more unique.
