For consideration to be moved to the reviews forum section*

Review copy was sent in by Airpro to me here in the Philippines, whom I thank for the confidence afforded to me.

Preface:
This is a new and upcoming brand in the flashlight industry. The DC7 is Airpro's first self owned brand of light. They chose to go with the multi-emitter soda can light that we all love already.

Sure it looks familiar to all of us since it is closely similar to existing lights in the market. However, during the latter part of this review, after using the light for about a week already, I was quite surprised that such improvements have been made. Read on and see for yourselves.

Packaging:
It comes very well packaged in bubble wrap on a brown carton box. The packaging of the light itself comes in a matte black and blue retail packaging box with some pictures of the light printed on the box itself alongside some information on the light specifications.

Operation:
*Light is in stepless dimming by default. To switch between stepless dimming and mode spacing, from OFF, click the button quickly 3 times.
From OFF:
-1 click to turn the light ON
-2 quick clicks to go to TURBO
-3 quick clicks changes Lighting modes (stepless dimming to mode spacing or vice versa) followed by 3 light flashes and leaves the light ON.
-4 quick clicks electronically locks the light, followed by 4 flashes.

from ON:
Stepless dimming mode:
-1 click and hold, changes the light brightness.
-1 click would turn the light OFF.
-2 clicks goes to instant TURBO.
-3 clicks would change modes to mode spacing.
-while on TURBO, 2 clicks would go to STROBE, 1 click would change between the 4 STROBE modes (STROBE -> STROBE with Flash -> Bike STROBE -> 2 Flash STROBE), another click would turn the light OFF.

Mode spacing mode:
-1 click , would let you change between modes , it is always going up from lowest to highest mode. I must say that you should be quick to click if you want to change modes because it will turn the light OFF, if you click more than 2 seconds.
-1 click and hold to go to the lower mode (example you are on HIGH, 1 click and hold would bring it down to MED).

Electronic Lockout: 4 quick clicks from OFF (followed by 4 quick flashes, indicating the light is LOCKED/UNLOCKED).
Mechanical Lockout: 1/4th turn on the barrel would LOCKOUT the light.

Form Factor:
The machining on this light is very good. The Aluminum used is thick and well-machined. The writings on the light is visible and can be clearly read. Powder coating is thick. No peeling or flaking. Fits very well in hand, one of the most compact soda cans I held. A little heavy with the 4 batteries. And most importantly, it does what is says it does.

Head:
It has a very subtle strike bezel. Has a high transmittance glass housing the LED's underneath with 4 individual deep, smooth, polished reflectors.

On MOONLIGHT, you will notice the LED's are de-domed.

There are deepset cooling fins ample enough for heat dissipation all around the light head.

The main switch is a dotted rubber boot encased in an aluminum ring, slightly lifted so you can easily locate the switch button by touch.

On right side of the main switch is the USB charging port covered very well by a rubber boot to help with the waterproofness and prevent dust from coming in.

And on the opposite side of the switch is the keyring holder hole or a screw hole for a mount if you choose.

The contacts on the head are beefy, the positive being a large brass ring, making direct contact with the button tops.

Barrel: There is a huge diamond pattern knurling on the entirety of the barrel that provides very good grip even with gloves.

The threads appear to be square cut, and anodized.

Tail:The tail side of the light has thick gold dual coiled springs which are sturdy. Needless to say, the this light can tail stand very pretty well. However, there are no holes at the tail for if you prefer to put a lanyard there instead of at the head part.

Conclusion:
To sum up, I believe that the most important part of any review is if given the chance to purchase the same light for my own EDC, would I still purchase it?
For this light, it is a definite YES. I already love the other similar soda can lights like the BLFQ8. Specially if you are looking for a complete light with complete functions. This light is well worth the price, for the excellent UI, and nice build quality.
Scrutinizing the light over throughout the review, I am hard pressed to find any flaws at this price point. Trully a good introductory light for an upcoming flashlight company, Airpro did a good job on this light.

As with all gears, two is one and one is none.

Light on brothers!

Salamat sa review.

I like its USB-C port as most of my electronics now are USB-C.
USB-C is more water resistant than micro-USB so when the flap fails (and it will), there's an added layer of protection. I'm just not sure about the space around the port though.

How much is it? I might have missed the price and if available locally.

Wish they had it in neutral.
