Okay Jimmy. Here are the specs for three regulators:
<snip>
BILL
Bill,
Your regulators are programmed and ready to go.
You specified the VLow as a percentage. Typically it's set as a voltage.
So I set you's as follows.

#1 VLow set to 75% of 22.5 = 16.8V
Vbulb: 22.5V
Vlow: 75%

#2 VLow set to 75% of 12.8V = 9.6V
Vbulb: 12.8V
Vlow: 75%

#3 VLow set to 75% of 16.5 = 12.4V
Vbulb: 16.5V
Vlow: 75%

Your regulators are programmed and ready to go.

I set them as follows:

#1
Operation Mode: Standard
Vbulb: 15.6 or what ever you think is best for a 64623 bulb. < I used 15.6V
Vlow: 12V
I set a Slow Soft Start since it will ramp directly to 15.6V. I didn't want to shock the bulb.

#2
MULTI MODE
Vbulb: 15.6 or what ever you think is best for a 64623 bulb. < I used 15.6V
Vlow: 12V
The default for a multi-mode driver is 3 levels at 87, 94, & 100%. That gives you 13.5V, 14.7V, & 15.6V
I used a medium soft start since the bulb would go to level 1 first (13.5V) and shouldn't be a problem.
All other settings are defaults.

TurboLou,

That voltage setting for the 1909 is probably way too high. Check out FM's comments in post #2 in the 1909 sales thread where he references LuxLuthor's test chart. I suspect your expensive bulbs won't last long, if at all.

Upon ordering, I'll probably have Jimmy set mine to 11.5 or .6 at the most as it's already quite a hot-rodded bulb with a short life.

Happy retina scorching!

To all recent buyers (turboLou, fredx, possibly Bimmerboy) My stash of solder paste has aged beyond usefulness. I need to get some more before building a new batch. So, until the order arrives, I'll have your orders on hold. It shouldn't take very long. Sorry about that. But the old paste was giving very poor results.
Should be here by the end of the week.

No problem, TurboLou. Just edit your post above and change 12.8 to 11.8. But re-consider Bimmerboy's post regarding using 11.6V. 0.2 V won't make much of a difference if it's already being overdriven, except it could flash the bulb. But of course, you're the customer. I'll set it to 11.8V if you like.

I received the solder paste and all is good in that respect. But now I can't get my reflow oven to run a profile. I've always had trouble with getting my PC to talk to my TechFX reflow 2.0 controller, but now it will not run a profile. I can read the pre-programmed profiles from the controller, but it won't actually run a profile. I worked on the stupid thing for over an hour just trying to get it to run. No dice. Sometimes the heaters will turn on and just stay on. I had 2.6kW of heaters running until they were bright orange. Damned thing never shut off. It has provisions to run standalone via an LCD and keypad. I've just ordered them this morning and will keep you updated. Sorry for the delay.

Oh. also... It costs $38 just in shipping to get this stuff from Canada. Ridiculous. Matrix Orbital is pricey.

The screen and keyboard are here and I've hooked them up. Using my Fluke to graph temperature. It appears to be running the correct profile without the need for a computer. Thank goodness. I've been able to get the drivers for it working sporadically. Even when I can get it to recognize the controller, it won't run a profile and graph it. Although I can upload new profile data and PID parameters. Go figure. I know where I'll be this weekend!

Good. I'm sitting down to program your boards right now. Last night I built 4 pallets of boards (40 individual boards). Very low re-work rate. I'm using a new paste. Kester HM531 paste. Pretty nice.

is this what's used in my PhD-M6 black edition?
Nope. They are both based on the same development work, but the physical designs are very different. They even use different microcontrollers. The PhD-M6 uses a Tiny45 I think. Mine uses a Tiny84.
