After checking my internet history i've found the link to be

Nick, Yeah there was a whole big bunch of goodies posted about Satcure's circuit.
Brock, have any idea why a topic would disappear?

That's a modified version. You can leave out the diode and capacitor, they only improve it a little bit.

I hosed my pics on the server and had a bunch of dead links. I just got email from Gadget....one of us can answer/post again if you have question.Actually this may not be so bad as we have learned a little more and made a few improvments..
Perhaps just keep this page to rebuild pertinent things...

Here is the most efficient use of space that I have found.
I use the resistor "leg" to support the coil.
there is just enough room.
That places the connection right there for the coil.
This way, you can get the whole thing in a pencil eraser.
You may have more success to solder the resistor to the BASE of the transistor first.... then bend it around so it rests on the transistor body and then thread the coil. Then solder the coil. There is just enough room for the leg of the resistor and 20 turns. Use a toothpick ( Gadget trick ) to open gently.
