Sure. It's only illegal if you get caught. Although Surefire has some allegedly shady lawyers trolling the internet so who knows.

Cool! I'm hoping you'll eventually scan a couple of the more interesting product pages and share them, but only if that's legal, of course.
Well Copyright is really a thing but I heard some people host outside of the USA in places such as Europe where they are less concerned about what the Americans think about things. Or you could upload them in onion land.

My bad,
the letter is already sent,
and I used 300 dpi for the scans I took today.
So the files are HUGE.
;-)
The catalog (on the right) 38 MB,
the selection guide (white pages, on the left) 22 MB.
All the others are "just" smaller pages...

Whoever wants, pm me a mail address, I will try to send what is possible
(There once was a 20 MB restriction on some addresses)
... If something gives errors because of size, I will try to reduce the file
(dunno if that will have much bad (?) effect on the content)

there really might (?) be a "representative", who you think will try to have posted pics removed?
isnt that an advertising in the end?
any maker should appreciate it being spread?

"main pic" of the catalog:

having no guns, I never really looked at that Product Selection Guide,
but imho that is the real gem
:)

No, that'd never happen. Surefire does have a 3rd party law office hassle people selling used lights on eBay but that's it

Guessing 1997, give or take.
Thanks, I have seen the 1997 catalog before as a pdf file. I was looking for an even older catalog to see if there is one available.

The earliest surefire catalogs I saw on the web were from 1992 and 1994, and the images were small and the text was unclear. I am not sure if it was published as a booklet by the manufacturer, or if it was an advertisement in a magazine. I also found one double-sided printed catalog on ebay that was quite old.

This is a really cool catalog; promise I'll scan it when I have time. What's interesting is how it goes into minute detail on every page in a very matter-of-fact style, like they're selling scientific instruments or trying to educate the reader. Compared to the newer catalogs that have a sort of "this light is really awesome and you too will be a soldier if you buy one" vibe.
