SR44 is a 1.5v silver oxide battery, LR44/357 is its alkaline equivalent, they are plentiful and cheap. There is a 1/3N lithium battery that's the same size as two SR44's, so there are some cameras that will use two SR44's or one 1/3N. Is that how the light is set up, i.e. two SR44's? That seems like a pretty nice way to go, with an underdriven Nichia GS or comparably efficient led. I can see this replacing my edc Photon II on my keys...
