I want to see them in the woods, that is where you really need a tight beam so the foliage does not bounce back in your face.

And I suppose a red color would minimize bounce, since leaves absorb the red.

Also would like to see side by side with a powerful laser pointer. How much narrower is a collimated laser? The LEP avoids the legal issues.

An LEP is my next flashaholic buy.

Including the word LEP in the subject would make it show up in searches.
