Good that you got that cleared up Vinh! Those fires are scary.

I have Cat 5 Hurricane Irma's eye scheduled to pass over my house this Sunday. I used my V54 lights to finish putting up shutters, when the sun went down.

Unfortunately what's good for us in Louisiana is bad for you (Mad) I'm hoping all goes well for the people of Fla.

If you ever get anything in your eyes the best thing to wash them with is fresh urine. Type urine therapy into google, although I know from personal experience how good it works, for alot more than just eyes. Not trying to preach on a flashlight forum but it could save your life. Stay safe Mad.

Urine and sweat are almost chemically identical.

Ever get sweat in your eyes? It burns like heck. I don't think I want urine in my eyes. Furthermore, things in your urine are filtered from your blood for a reason, your body doesn't want them. I have to believe that in all but the most dire circumstance, pure water is a better option for flushing your eyeballs.

Hey gang! I'm still alive in South Florida! Lots of wind, not that much rain, and being on the Atlantic coast, not much storm surge. Lots of twigs down, and occasional limb, very few trees down.
The biggest pain is no electricity (air-conditioning) and until moments ago, no internet.
Got to use dozens of flashlights though! :D [emoji106]

Glad to hear that you're doing well, MAD! Sounds like not too bad of a situation for you then. :) Hope that the flashlights made things better and gave you a bit of mental respite from worry as well!

Ya, good to hear you are OK MADD. Irma was all over the place. Couldn't track that storm if you tried too. My parents are in Clearwater and it was a roller coaster ride. First there was low threat than high than plain old close call. Could have been so much worse. Glad you and your family are OK too!

Good to hear you're okay MAD, also good thing you're a flashaholic when there's no power, I bet your neighbors were like how is his lights still on?? Little do they know that the house is powered by V54! But in all seriousness, glad the storm tapered down towards the end and hope there aren't too many casualties
