Extremely happy with my 70.2 4000K version. Great output and tint, BIG hotspot, usable flood for dog walking, and just enough throw for my needs.

Of all the lights I own, this is now my favorite! I have an older Supbeam K40VN and a Thrunite TN30 and wanted something smaller than both but with performance somewhere in the middle, and that's what I got.

This was exactly something I wanted as well. But two months ago, this wasn't possible, vinh wasn't able to fit the new driver into my light. What driver do you have,vnx2 or vnx3?
what battery are you using?

I have a TC20 and a CATV6, whats the price about to make me a CATvn 70.2 with a 4000k led? Does that make the TC20 body and catv6 driver useless for anything else after this mod?
thanks

Thrunite CATvn V6 - 26650 Thrower Perfection

I am currently looking for a 26650 thrower. Is this still one of the better choices?

Could be low bin, I did see some a huge output difference between the bins from that blf thread. I wonder what bin is being used in the K75? The SBT90.2 is what makes the K75.

I have a Klarus XT12GT. Will the Thrunite CATvn V6 out throw the Klarus XT12GT? If so, by how much?

By a big margin I would imagine.

91kcd vs. 190kcd. More than double the throw of a stock XT12GT. The only downside, depending on what you're using it for, is that the V6 isn't very "tactical" with the side switch. It carries quite small for its performance though. If you don't mind a little larger head size and 2" longer light, the T27 has a crazy amount of throw (335+kcd stock) without giving up the tail switch. Also, it's about the same weight as the V6.
