I saw above that the heads were sent out on 7/2, but I've not received a pm about tracking info yet, as stated at the beginning of the thread. I'm wondering if we will still receive the info. Thanks.

my apologies. I was hoping you received an email from PP with the tracking number. I'm guessing that's not the case. Unfortunately I've been away for 4th, returning today. I will PM you tracking this evening. Hopefully majority of you will rcv head today.

Thanks Richard!

Sorry guys and gals... I have found some bodies that are over spec on the thread pitch diameter.
I'm sending out a reworked body to lion504 tomorrow for a test on these new heads... which look great!
PM sent also...

I'm claiming first arrival of Ti VME!! Stuck with the Malkoff theme. Mounted to an MDC 1 CR123A no tailcap shroud, and an M31. Absolutely stunning. Were I bright enough to post a picture I would.
Many thanks to lion504 for all the time and energy spent making this come to fruition. Thanks to Gene at Malkoff as well.

It has arrived. Paired with the Tri-Pak sporting a GD Skulls clip with a M31N inside. Thanks to Dan and Gene for making this happen.

Mine arrived. Big thanks to lion504 and Gene for this special run. I am using a McGizmo 123 pak and a Malkoff M31LL. Very pleased!

Got mine today also. Thank you to lion504 and Gene for doing this for us. I had given up hope of ever getting one, so this is a real treat. I am using a McGizmo 123 Tri-pak with Malkoff M31LL as well. Cheers to everyone involved!

Heads have been received and all fit close and tight. A quick shot outside before they get tested in the dark.

Got mine today, too. The new head is a tight fit with RPM body (have to force it to get all the way down). However, it fits Don's 16650 (2 x CR123) paks just fine. I had no problem with the old Ti VME head with RPM body. Thanks again Lion504 :grouphug:.

Glad they're finding good homes!

LRT - Your photo is amazing. Looks like they're floating in air. Love the bokeh!

Mine arrived yesterday as well. So far I have tested one and it fits perfectly on my 1x123 Pak and EB1 body. I'll post some pics later today. Thanks again lion504 for doing this.

Mine arrived Friday. It was smaller than I thought it was going to be, which is good. Now if I could find a M31LL.....cool tint.
Thank you Lion504!!!

Mine does not come close to fitting that tightly to the RPM body. I'll post a pic shortly showing the gap.

Problem completely resolved! Mucho gracias to RPM. Amazing customer service and I'm VERY happy with the head and the body! Thanks Rich!

Can you VME experts confirm the correct assembly order?

(1) Upper half of VME head
(2) Flat o-ring/gasket
(3) Lens
(4) O-ring
(5) M61
(6) Bottom half of VME head

When I use (4) O-ring my head has the double gap like those in socom;s picture (and the 2xAA mcgizmo light in LRT's picture and the left one in sidfishez'). When I omit the (4) O-ring, my head has a single gap like LRT's RPM light on the far right in his picture.

Is this o-ring optional? (3) and (4) are supposed to fit into that shelf in the front of the drop-in, right?

Malkoff lens is acrylic, right? Took me like ten minutes picking at it to get the blue film off, got lube all over it, then wiped it off, and now it's scratched. :sigh:

Thanks.
