trits....where to put them???

So I am contemplating trits, I mean they look pretty cool...And I was wondering, can they be safely placed in the head of a highly finned head?
I have a fivemega light, deeply finned head in which I am running a high amp Kerberos quad 219....
Would it be wise to put 5 trits in the outer edges of the finned head....??

During Halloween, I had four 5.5mm trits in a drilled optic of a 5.6A copper Quad running down two 3100mAH, and one trit died. I used its high mode before; I guess I pushed it too much this time. In your case, the trits aren't 0.5cm from the emitters so you shouldn't worry about it.

While you're contemplating where to place trits on your lights keep in mind that they are beautiful to look at, but very disruptive on any sub-lumen capable light in very dark surroundings, which is why I've sold off almost all trit embellishments, leaving me with only a very small remaining number of trits, mostly in the back of the light itself.
